Waiting for Eagles!
We recently made a trip to the Monfragüe National Park in Extremadura, Spain.
It was 9 am and I remember feeling extremely cold when I took this photo of John waiting in a bird hide at Portilla del Tiétar.
Shortly after we spotted a Spanish Imperial Eagle flying above the cliffs opposite. The cold feeling soon disappeared!
What a thrill that must have been!
Great! Looks like nice weather too – not so in Madrid this week!
