Going nowhere…
My plans to stay a few nights in a friend’s mountain cabin got put on hold yesterday. I desperately want to wake up early morning and experience an undisturbed snowy landscape, for photography and animal tracking. In the end, there was too much snow and we opted against the 8km trek.
Still we managed to walk a lower route for a few hours and have a fantastic ‘menu del día’.

A wintry view from mountain village of Taranes in Ponga, Asturias.
An old Santana 4 x 4 that we passed on the route between Sobrefoz and Ventaniella. It design is licensed by Land Rover but made in Jaén, Spain.

Ah lovely-especially through a window while getting warm by a log fire!
love the yellow house!
Lovely John, what a wonderful snowy landscape!
great splotch of brown/yellow.
and I love pictures of old vehicles sitting idle.
Thanks for the comments guys. I didn’t notice the yellow house until viewing on the PC. Too busy protecting the camera from large snowflakes! It was definitely and ‘point and shoot’ exercise that morning.
