Basílica de Santa María la Real de Covadonga

A lovely misty morning. We decided to walk the route to the Cruz de Priena. It was a new route and I was curious to the discover the views at the summit. This shot was taken after a few minutes along the path. We set off wearing hats, scarves and gloves but by time we arrived at the peak with clear blue skies and strong sun, it became t-shirt weather!
We had an interesting appearance from a wild boar on the way up. Unfortunately no photo of him as the camera was in my rucsac. Schoolboy error

Wow, amazing photo! I thought it was misty when I saw it, but it’s nothing compared to how misty your day was. At least you got T-shirt weather by the end of the day.

Thanks for the comments. I think the road and surrounding mountains are now covered with snow. Another trip needed!
